AEC Forum

AEC Forum is a new initiative of Understanding Animal Research Oceania, to provide opportunities for networking, learning and discussion between Animal Ethics Committee members. Our first events were held in Sydney (February 2024) and Melbourne (December 2024).

These face-to-face events provide regional discussions, where committee members have time and opportunity to delve into some more complex issues that are faced as part of their institutional discussions.

Our most recent events were held in Melbourne in November 2025, and in Sydney in February 2026. Summary reports for all past events can be downloaded through the links below.
